Wallpaper of the Moment! 3/25

Before we start, I know you’re thinking “Another one? Didn’t just post one of these two days ago?” The answer: yes, yes I did. I have a habit of changing my wallpaper just randomly without notice. I change them at least once a week and at most I have done it 6 or 7 times in a day. Also, I keep anything I use as a wallpaper. My WP folder currently sits at 642.3MB with 635 different wallpapers. Yeah, that’s a lot. Anyway, on to the wallpaper I currently have:

Yup, if you read the post before this then you’ll notice that I have a fondness for the anime K-On!. Then I found out that the new season is coming out this spring, April 5 IIRC, the day before the premiere of the KxS anime on April 6 (also IIRC). In honor of this, I found one of my favorite Mio wallpapers in my massive collection and put it up. Unfortunately, I don’t have one (or never found one) that had both Mio and Azu-nyan on it besides the ones that have the entire group. Spring 2010 Anime List!

I was told earlier today in skype that the Spring 2010 Anime List was out. Needless to say, this made me very happy. What’s better is there’s a fancy chart to accompany it! Look it this:

There are a few things here that catch my eye right off the bat: (in no particular order):

1. Working!
I haven’t had the chance to read the manga yet, but luckily my good friend Kitsune has and, from his reactions, it’s a rather good manga. I’m looking forward to this. Besides that, I worked in food service before, needless to say it was really funny at times.

2. B Gata H Kei
Read description. You know what that equals? Potential.

3. Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
There was something on Anime News Network that caught my attention for this, but I can’t remember what it was. Anyway, the description sets it up to be good. Besides that, what Otaku doesn’t like a maid cafe? I wouldn’t know because I’ve never met one.

4. K-On! Season 2
I shouldn’t have to put anything, here but I will. Watch first season- insert Mio Moe and Win here. Watch next season, insert more Moe and Win here. Also, insert Azu-nyan. It actually scares me how much win this anime could contain.

5. Kiss x Sis
Did you read the manga? Have you seen the 3 OVAs so far? My only question- will it be censored?

Those are just 5 of things that caught my eye right off the bat. I’ll probably write about them as they come out or something like that. So far, this is what I’ll be watching of that list:
Angel Beats, Working!, B Gata H Kei, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, K-On! 2 (duh), Mayoi Neko Overun!, Kiss x Sis (also duh), and Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri. I wanna see Yutori-chan, but the “distibuted by email” thing confuses the heck outta me. Oh well, we’re bound to find it somewhere on the internet I’m sure. Good season ahead I’d say! Wallpaper of the Moment 3/23

For those of you who know me, you know I have a lot of wallpapers. over 500 at last count, and growing ever more by the week. I think at last check my backgrounds folder was 700+MB. Yes, that’s right, nearly 1GB worth of backgrounds. Anyway, I have them all uploaded on my MediaFire should you ever want them. Anyway, on to the point here: I’ve decided that whenever I change my WP, I’ll show it here, maybe give an explanation or something. Here’s today’s Wallpaper of the Moment! It is Hii-chan from Hanamaru Kindergarten cos-playing, as she does many times through the series, as a Detective. Why did I name it Hii-chan Holmes? How could I not?

What I Learned Today 3/23

Today I learned several things:

1. Breakneck Speed on RockBand is awesome.

2. Playing 14 Metal songs in row is really hard and tiring.

3. People in animes have a lot of money since they all seem to eventually (if not already) live alone in large houses. lol

4. Panda-Neko is a Champion of Justice!

Ok, so that last one I learned Sunday, but that’s not the point. Point is, you should be watching Hanamaru Kindergarten. While we’re on the topic of anime (I can point nearly any convo there) I finished Chu Bra yesterday. It had me really pissed off at the end, but the it made up for it at the last seconds. If you weren’t watching that….. COME ON! KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES! Jeez, how are we ever gonna get along? Answer: We will. Just look at MushMan and I. He has a hatred for Anime & Manga, and yet we get along fine. There’s still hope! Until next time (or when something else I deem blog worthy comes along), Kiwotsukete

Stuff to read…. yup that’s a title

I started watching the Anime Chu Bra yesterday. I like it. It’s funny. However, you could learn something from it if you look deep enough. Yeah, that’s right, I’m a different kind of Otaku. As one of my friends put it, “An Otaku with boundaries!?”, or something like that. I’m not so great with the remembering part of life, but then again, who is? Anyways, I think I’ll be doing some redesigning in the future, something a little more customizable and me. Never know what that might be. Anyway, I’m going to start linking to friends blogs too. You can find their links on the sidebar (it’s way over there ——>). Today’s add on was my friends Francisco’s Blog. I think I misspelled his name though. Oops. I can fix it later, that’s why I love the edit button. (EDIT: Yeah he totally called me on it. Thank You Frank!)

I’m not dead… I promise

Wow, it’s been since December since I last posted anything on here?! Jeez, how’s that for “Hey how’s your real life going?” Anyway, no I’m not dead, I’ve just been busy; whether it’s been with real-life, my many hobbies, or just talking it up on skype with buddies. I’m going to start paying more attention to this I think, and make it a more dimensional blog. When I first started it it was supposed to be blog of just my randomness… and then my randomness kinda got side-lined with a knee injury. Fear not though! I shall come back…. and it might be sooner than you think.
Also, the about me page will be updated soon. You can follow me on Twitter now, and you can get to me on Skype (Jim_Daddy) now too! Lot’s of stuff going on, you know you don’t want to miss it.
